1Create Your Account
Register for your free West Auctions account, verify your email, and add a payment method before placing your first bid.
New accounts begin with an introductory bid limit that can increase over time as you establish a successful bidding and payment history.
2Browse & Research Lots
Search upcoming sales or browse auctions by category, location, or keyword. Each lot includes photos, descriptions, and auction-specific details to help you make informed decisions.
Before bidding, we recommend that you:
- Review all available photos and descriptions.
- Check the auction terms and removal dates.
- Attend an inspection if one is offered.
- Save interesting lots so you can easily find them later.
3Place Your Bid
When you're ready, enter the highest amount you're willing to pay. West Auctions will automatically bid on your behalf using the smallest required bidding increments until your maximum is reached.
You'll always be able to see whether you're currently leading, have been outbid, or have won the lot.
4Pay Your Invoice
Once an auction has fully closed, you'll receive an invoice for all the lots you've won in that auction.
Review your invoice, apply any eligible tax exemptions, and complete payment using one of the available payment methods. Once payment has been received, you'll be ready to schedule pickup.
5Pick Up Your Items
Every auction includes specific removal dates and instructions. Some auctions also require scheduled pickup appointments.
Before arriving, review your invoice and any removal instructions to ensure you have everything needed for a smooth pickup.
